        Ullapool / Edinburgh

Bild
Edinburgh .

Ullapool, Scotland .

Ullapool , located on the northwest coast of Scotland, is a small, picturesque town of  approximately 1,400 inhabitants. Even though small in size,  it is still the largest town for many miles around and a major tourist destination of Scotland. Thanks to the North Atlantic Drift, which passes by,  Ullapool, enjoys moderate temperatures.

A day in Edinburgh can be quite exciting. A walk through the old city during the famous Edinburgh Festival is a fasinating experience. Of course, a shopping trip to one of the many shops famous for whiskey and other spirits has to be included. The shops around the Castle have beautiful woll sweaters, jackets, scarves and hats. At the end of the day, sailing out of Edinburgh harbor as the sun sets is a magical experience.
