Greece and Corinth Canal Travel Guide

Corinth Canal was opened in 1893. It separates the Greek mainland from the Peloponnese.
Since September 2001 the Canal is under private management.
The town of Corinth is located on the northern end of the Canal.

How to get Greece and Corinth Canal

thens International Airport (ATH) serves flights from the UK, USA, and Europe.

The main carriers are BA, Aegean, Ryanair, EasyJet, Thomas Cook, TUI, Olympic KLM, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Delta, and Continental Airlines
Corinth town is well connected to the biggest cities in Greece. The easiest way to get it is to take a bus from Athens

By Car

Rent a car for visiting Corinth Canal. It is a very comfortable way which one also can give an opportunity to see cush cities as Olympia, Epidaurus, and Mycenae.
The highway A75 towards the north through detour (seventy kilometers) leads to Corinth.

By Bus

The bus to Corinth runs every day from Terminal A (100 Kifissou Street) every thirty minutes.

By Train

Take a direct train from Athens Airport or use the train to get central Athens and then at SKA station take the train to Corinth.
